Angie Connell (President) grew up in Tampa playing a lot of sports. She went to college on a golf scholarship, and shortly after moved to Seattle. She thoroughly enjoys watching modern dance and helping in any way necessary from stacking chairs, running a light board, to board meetings. In her spare time, Angie is pursuing her Masters in Business Administration from Seattle University.

Cindy Doyle (Treasurer) is a Washington native, and is preparing her beautiful children to be successful in college. She is now enjoying the ability to spend time focusing her accounting talents in helping small Not-for-Profit ventures in the Seattle area that promote women's empowerment and breast cancer research. She has completed the Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk, and is training to do it again in 2008.

Jürg Koch completed a degree in education before studying dance in Bern, Amsterdam and London. After a one year special course at London Contemporary Dance School he joined their 4D performance group. During this postgraduate year he also completed his MA in Performance. From 1998 until spring 2000, Jürg performed with Diversions (Wales) in a repertoire including works by Bill T Jones, Örjan Anderson and Toni Mira.  In 2000 he joined CandoCo (UK) where he performed in pieces by Javier de Frutos, Doug Elkins, Jamie Watton and Fin Walker. Since then Jürg has increased both his educational and choreographic interests, being commissioned by CandoCo to create the trio A Maze In You. In autumn 2003 he moved to Seattle and joined the faculty of the UW as a lecturer in January 2004 where he teaches Modern, Composition and courses integrating disabled and non-disabled dancers. During the last year he created the quintet five 4 now and collaborated with Iole Alessandrini on the site-specific piece Suggested Reading: Untitled. Currently he is performing with the Chamber Dance Company in works by Elisa Monte and Mark Dendy and is creating a new trio Untelling Stories, all to be performed in spring 2005.

Anne Lawrence (Secretary) is a native of Minneapolis. For the past 30 years, she has lived in Seattle, where she practices psychotherapy and writes. Exposure to the work of Pat Graney and Amii LeGendre catalyzed her late-life passion for modern dance. In addition to being an avid audience member, Anne deepens her appreciation of the form through technique classes and performance workshops, in which she has had the privilege of working with choreographers Paige Barnes, Jürg Koch, Amy O'Neal, and Crispin Spaeth. Anne finds D9's vision—an independent collective of women dancers who commission nationally recognized and outstanding local choreographers to set new work on themselves—to be terrifically inspiring and she is honored to be able to support it.

Laura Prudhomme has been working with d9 since September 2006. She is a recent transplant to Seattle from Albuquerque, NM. While in Albuquerque she danced and taught with Keshet Dance Company and Buen Viaje Dance Company at the North Fourth Arts Center. Laura is also a founding member of Albuquerque based PutAttention Dance Collective. Originally from Memphis, Laura performed with Metal Velvet Dance Project and Project:Motion. She was also an original member of the now defunct, Breeding Ground. Laura received her BFA in Theatre and Dance from the University of Memphis.

Michael Yocom is a Seattle native. With a background in ballroom dance, Michael has a passion for swing dancing, emphasizing on aerials. His new found interest in modern dance has aroused a powerful desire to assist in the development of D9, and to support it's highly talented dancers. His interests and talents vary from building computers and speed solving the Rubik's Cube, to watching independent films and delighting in classic jazz pieces. Fueled by a desire to tackle obstacles and share his talents, he is a valued addition to the D9 board.
